Personal

I grew up in Texas near Houston and currently live in Connecticut near Hartford with my partner, child, and two dogs (Dr. van Peebles and Senha). 

Outside of academia, I have two main interests: During the colder months of the year, I design, spin, and knit Irish sweaters. During the warmer months, I grow, cultivate, and ferment peppers for hot sauce.
